Job Description Summary
This role champions the I&C Systems Architecture and Design for the BWRX-300 Plant from a systems engineering and requirements management perspective. The focus is on a top-down and peer-to-peer approach that integrates safety strategy, nuclear regulations, and industry standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering and RM for integrated control systems.
- Develop technical decisions based on safety, fault lists and standards.
- Champion requirement elicitation, allocation, and design decisions.
- Mentor peers in digital RM tools and nuclear safety frameworks.
- Prepare oversight reviews, technical papers, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 15+ years in the nuclear industry, including 10+ years in system design, requirements management, and use of industry standards (IEC, IEEE, CSA). Extensive experience with digital tools and productivity software is needed.
Eligibility and Work Location
Preferred work location at GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; highly qualified U.S.-based remote candidates are also considered. This role requires U.S. person status.
