About the Role: Senior Services Engineer at GE Vernova
The Global Service team at GE Vernova company is looking for a Senior Services Engineer. This role focuses on applying Aero and Thermal expertise to configure and deploy digital twin products specifically for power generation.
You will be responsible for implementing new, commercially re-usable analytics solutions for production systems, whether they are on-premises or in the cloud. A key part of your work will involve gathering insights from customer assets and providing valuable operational advice.
You will perform extensive data analysis using various data sources, leveraging a standard suite of platform modules and algorithms. Additionally, you will develop code components, configurations, and comprehensive digital twin solutions tailored for power plants.
The position requires you to provide Gas Turbine Combustion Engineering and Thermal Performance expertise and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation. The activities conducted are designed to better understand and ultimately meet the expectations of the customer, focusing on departmental operations planning, execution, and professional activities within a technical discipline.
You should be familiar with Python programming and data science, possess a background in modeling and process control, and have existing experience in power generation.
