Job Description Summary

The Lead Site Support Engineer - Civil/Mechanical will provide critical civil/structural site engineering support, collaborating with partner organizations and suppliers to enhance detailed design and execute a new nuclear power plant project.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction and installation of civil structures ensuring safety and quality.
  • Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues in real time.
  • Coordinate design deliverables among site, fabrication, and design teams.
  • Act as liaison with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Manage Field Change Notices (FCN) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Develop engineering reports and provide technical support for site issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guides and industry standards.

Eligibility & Work Schedule

Candidate must work 5 days onsite (8-5) at the fabrication shop in Cambridge or the Darlington Project Site in Oshawa. Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
