Job Description

Ingénieur Cybersécurité

GE Vernova is seeking an Ingénieur Cybersécurité (Cybersecurity Engineer) to join their Systems Engineering team. This role focuses on a cross-functional technical discipline that emphasizes a mindset and process for delivering quality products that meet user requirements by considering both business and technical needs.

Job Description

The Ingénieur Cybersécurité will be responsible for various aspects of product and system integration, ensuring maximum performance and operability. Key responsibilities include managing product and system requirements, specifications, and data flow. The role involves conducting validation and verification activities, including system-level testing, and defining product requirements for modules, components, and external teams. A significant part of the role includes managing interfaces between components and execution organizations, driving trade-offs for critical to quality (CTQ) and risk within design teams, and overseeing the overall product configuration and its control system.

This position requires a deep understanding of a technical discipline, leveraging previous experience and acquired expertise to implement strategies and guidelines. The engineer will utilize their understanding of key business drivers to perform their work effectively and comprehend how their team's contributions integrate with and benefit other departments. While a certain level of judgment is expected, allowing for the proposal of solutions beyond established parameters with guidance, the role involves solving straightforward tasks using prior experience and on-the-job training. Access to technical skills and analytical thinking is crucial for problem-solving, with the ability to consult multiple internal sources for decision-making.

This role is suitable for an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an emerging leader capable of hiring and developing talent. The position involves providing informal guidance to new team members.
