Job Description Summary
This Exciter LCI Field Service Engineer role involves providing all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' sites. The position focuses on maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products by executing both preventive and remedial maintenance tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of power equipment outages. Responsibilities include developing technical discipline expertise, troubleshooting control and instrumentation systems from field devices to networking, and proposing solutions with some level of judgment and guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years field engineering experience in power generation, industrial automation, or related sectors.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems, instrumentation, and networking.
- Strong customer focus and effective communication skills.
Desired Characteristics
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, document, plan, and execute programs.
- Hands-on troubleshooting for electronics and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with MS Office and TCP/IP configuration.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary ranges from $78,800 to $120,000 USD annually, with potential for a 10% performance bonus, variable incentive compensation, and equity. Additional benefits include healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescription), retirement plans, tuition assistance, paid parental leave, and more.
