Job Overview
The Trainee Engineer at GE HealthCare supports uninterrupted material supply for production and sales. You will ensure inventory accuracy while achieving and maintaining business metrics using Oracle and Digital Cockpit. Your work includes material ordering, availability, scheduling, and root cause investigation and resolution of material issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage material ordering, availability, and scheduling for 2-week inventory levels.
- Utilize Oracle and Digital Cockpit expertise to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Reschedule materials for pull ins and push outs.
- Conduct daily shortage root cause investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with suppliers on packaging, planning, and replenishment.
- Perform daily walks on the floor and receiving dock to address material receiving issues.
- Support material transfers and supplier reviews with Sourcing.
- Manage Phase In / Phase Out projects to reduce obsolete material.
Skills & Qualifications
Qualified to Degree level in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering with working knowledge of MRP systems. Experience in Oracle and SAP is an added advantage. Excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
