Overview
The Trainee Engineer at GE HealthCare is responsible for driving improvements in product quality, addressing rejections from customers and internal yields, and ensuring high quality output from the manufacturing line.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive improvements in product quality from customer rejections and internal yields.
- Monitor manufacturing line quality and address issues promptly.
- Interface with Supplier Quality to resolve supplier related defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage CAPA processes.
- Execute equipment calibration activities and coordinate with calibration agencies.
- Create standard operating procedures and train production operators.
- Implement lean initiatives, Kaizen, and address line breakdowns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and implement best practices amid high ambiguity.
