About the Role
As a Senior Lifecycle Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening the performance, quality, and customer experience of MR systems used around the world. This position is ideal for curious, collaborative engineers who enjoy solving meaningful technical challenges and influencing product improvements across the full product lifecycle. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams and help transform real‑world field insights into enhancements that benefit patients, providers, and customers globally.

What You’ll Do
Lead Product Quality & CSO Ownership
- Take ownership of Customer Satisfaction Opportunities (CSOs) for MR systems and hardware across the installed base.
- Oversee containment, root‑cause analysis, and development of sustainable corrective actions.
- Provide clear, consistent updates to leadership and partner teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Foster collaborative operating rhythms that support accountability while encouraging shared problem‑solving.
Technical Investigation & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Lead complex product investigations using your MR system knowledge to analyze field performance and identify technical issues.
- Work closely with engineering, service, manufacturing, and product design teams to develop effective solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical liaison between field service, installed base engineering, and design teams—ensuring shared understanding of failure modes, customer impact, and needed actions.
Drive Continuous Improvement Across the Product Lifecycle
- Identify systemic issues and emerging trends, transforming field learnings into actionable design or process improvements.
- Contribute insights that influence product enhancements and help ensure strong product performance in the field.
- Participate across all stages of the product lifecycle—from early concept through manufacturing and field deployment—to help shape future MR systems through lessons learned.
Lifecycle Process Improvement
- Develop and enhance lifecycle engineering processes that support efficient CSO management, strong documentation practices, and effective cross‑functional communication.
- Continuously refine workflows to accelerate issue closure and elevate customer satisfaction.
Coaching & Team Development
- Support and mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in troubleshooting, investigation rigor, and lifecycle engineering methods.
- Foster an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and team members feel empowered to contribute.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering—or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience working with complex system environments.
- Demonstrated MR system knowledge, including troubleshooting and subsystem‑level understanding.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with GE MR products, diagnostics, or service workflows.
Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience with GE HealthCare tools and systems (e.g., Salesforce, TrackWise, MyWorkshop).

- Ability to manage multiple investigations while staying organized and collaborative.
- Strong communication skills—comfortable translating technical issues for both engineering and business audiences.
