Opportunity to join a world class team of technical experts at GE HealthCare to set the standards and direction for our Global Supply Chain in advanced manufacturing technologies.

Role Summary

The Senior Automation AME Leader drives the vision for automation applications and advanced test development, providing regional leadership for introducing automation across new product development and existing manufacturing processes in the MR Magnet business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy fixed and collaborative automation solutions.
  • Lead automation for NPI, product transfers, and productivity projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors/integrators for proof of concepts and production deployment.
  • Support Industry 4.0 initiatives through data analytics and digital transformation.
  • Develop technical training materials and documentation for automation processes.

Technical & Managerial Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Automation, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years’ experience in automation implementation, with expertise in PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong project management, data analytics, OT/IT integration and cybersecurity skills.
  • Experience with LabVIEW, C++, Python and controls automation design.
  • Travel up to 25% domestic and international.
