Role Overview: PET Clinical Application Specialist
As a PET Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) supporting the GE HealthCare imaging applications team, you will provide clinical, technical, and operational expertise through exceptional adult education and training for the PET modality. Utilizing the Customer Learning Journey wing-to-wing training process, you will enhance the customer experience by applying your modality subject matter expertise to educate customers on GE HealthCare PETCT equipment and deliver effective training solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep product, clinical, and software knowledge within the PET modality, correlating theoretical and product information to optimize GE Healthcare equipment performance for clinicians.
- Conduct pre-sale product clinical evaluations and educational sessions for prospective customers.
- Partner with customers to develop and administer clinical training for end-user personnel, ensuring alignment with sales order agreements (SOA) to achieve high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and other service teams for integrated account management and coordinated customer training delivery per SOA terms.
- Drive revenue generation through the execution of on-site or remote clinical education.
- Ensure comprehensive, consistent, and timely documentation from pre- to post-training phases.
- Provide ongoing post-installation training and support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and proactively communicate relevant product/customer concerns or opportunities to management, sales, marketing, and technical support.
- Work with associated teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training to internal and external partners and customers, fulfilling duties as a content developer, trainer, and registrar.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical and technical disciplines and leverage prior experience to execute training policy and strategy effectively.
- Utilize an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and team integration to accomplish work and contribute to the overall area.
- Exercise judgment and propose solutions outside set parameters, with guidance, using experience and on-the-job training to resolve tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of imaging experience, including at least 3 years specifically with PET modality.
- ARRT or equivalent specific PET modality certification.
- Comfortable operating in a clinical/patient environment.
- Ability to travel extensively (90%+, 4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada (USCAN) via various modes of transportation.
- Proficient in software applications such as Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with navigating other computer and web-based tools.
- Aptitude for learning specialized industry-specific software to provide digital education and training solutions.
- Willingness to register with vendor credentialing services for customer hospitals, requiring proof of immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis) and drug screening.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
