HL7 Integration Engineer Overview

In the role of HL7 Integration Engineer at GE HealthCare, you will support the implementation of CARESCAPE Gateway products. Your responsibilities include installation, testing, technical support, and working on multiple projects simultaneously, including occasional after-hours go-live events.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of GE HealthCare products into various hospital IT systems.
  • Design, configure, implement, and test a variety of HL7 interfaces.
  • Support multiple projects spanning various durations.
  • Provide customer support across different time zones and after-hours.
  • Develop or improve tools, processes, or products including service offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with the GEHC Quality standards and policies.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years HL7 experience.
  • Cloverleaf Level 1 Certification.
  • Experience with vendor integration to Cerner, Epic, and Meditech.
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Desired Qualifications

  • Cloverleaf Level 2 or 3 Certification.
  • Experience with SQL databases and VM integration.
  • Familiarity with GE Healthcare Patient Care Solution products.
