Job Description

Job Description Summary

The HEOR Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for shaping and communicating the clinical and economic value of our healthcare solutions to drive market development and adoption. This role creates strategies for Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real World Evidence (RWE) to build compelling, evidence-based narratives and practical tools that resonate with health systems, hospitals, payers, and clinical decision makers for strategic solutions. By translating complex data into actionable insights, this role equips commercial, marketing, and account teams with clear, credible value propositions that support value-based selling, inform go-to-market strategies, and accelerate customer decisions.

GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Our purpose is to create a world where healthcare has no limits. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.

Key Responsibilities

HEOR Strategy & Evidence Generation
  • Own the HEOR and RWE strategy for a priority product/portfolio across the full lifecycle, from pipeline to post-market.
  • Develop prioritized evidence generation plans (e.g., RWE studies, economic models, patient-reported outcomes, preference studies) and ensure timely delivery of high-impact outputs.
  • Partner closely with clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, product management and product marketing teams to identify evidence needs, align on endpoints, and shape study designs.
  • Provide HEOR input into clinical programs and global product development plans to ensure endpoints and data streams support future value claims.

Value Communication & Enablement
  • Translate clinical and economic evidence into field-ready value assets: AMCP-style dossiers, global value dossiers, budget-impact and cost-effectiveness models, value calculators, dashboards, and visual storytelling tools.
  • Tailor tools by stakeholder (e.g., hospital administrators/finance, clinicians, payers, IDN leaders) to support informed, customer-specific decisions.
  • Deliver training, playbooks, and workshops to commercial and regional marketing teams to ensure confident, consistent value communication.

Market Development & Policy Insight
  • Identify unmet needs and value gaps to inform positioning, pricing corridors, and evidence priorities; support early market development by linking solutions to care delivery and financial outcomes (e.g., LOS, readmissions, throughput, workforce efficiency, safety).
  • Contribute HEOR perspective to policy issues and external economic evaluations; partner with Public Policy/Health Economics on submissions and stakeholder engagement as needed.

Stakeholder & Portfolio Leadership
  • Act as the HEOR champion within the segment; build strong relationships with senior leaders across commercial, medical, and strategy functions.
  • Influence portfolio strategy by highlighting opportunities for differentiation through value creation and by steering pipeline and post-market investments toward high-return evidence.
  • Monitor external trends in payer expectations, health technology assessment (HTA), value frameworks, and healthcare policy to proactively evolve value strategies and toolkits over time.
  • Provide scientific rigor and governance as a member of review committees (protocols, analyses, publications); ensure adherence to internal/external standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Coach and develop colleagues on HEOR methods, modeling, and evidence strategy; leverage internal and external partners/outsourcing to deliver plans efficiently.

Core Deliverables

  • Integrated HEOR/RWE plan with timelines, budgets, and prioritized studies.
  • Economic models, value calculators, and decision-support dashboards suitable for customer engagements.
  • Dossiers, publications, and conference materials (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) aligned to scientific and go-to-market needs.
  • Field enablement materials (training decks, objection handling, claims matrices) mapped to stakeholder journeys.
  • Periodic evidence impact reports linking HEOR outputs to market development, access wins, and commercial KPIs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years in HEOR, outcomes research, pricing/reimbursement, market access, or portfolio value strategy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in economic modeling (cost-effectiveness, budget impact), RWE, and preference studies.
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications, dossier development, and creation of customer-facing HEOR tools that drive adoption.
  • Deep understanding of global healthcare systems (Public, IDNs/health systems, payers, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; proven ability to present to executive stakeholders and to simplify complex methods for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing external vendors and budgets related to economic analysis or value tool development.
  • Demonstrated success working in matrixed environments, influencing across functions without direct authority.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE HealthCare will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred Master’s in health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, health services research, public health, biostatistics, or related field.
  • 10+ years in HEOR, outcomes research, pricing/reimbursement, market access, or portfolio value strategy.
  • 5 or more years working in medical devices/diagnostics/digital health or adjacent healthcare domains.
