General Manager Productivity USCAN Service - Job Description Summary
The VCP General Manager leads the identification and execution of Variable Cost Productivity initiatives to drive margin improvement across the USCAN region. This role manages a team of experienced leaders, ensuring the delivery of annual VCP targets through both short- and long-term projects. The position reports directly to the USCAN Service President.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive VCP plan for the USCAN Service business.
- Partner with Service Delivery Regions and Global Segment teams to exceed target funnel and implement profitability projects.
- Promote VCP awareness and expand idea generation channels across the organization.
- Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing team for rapid project execution.
- Drive accountability using the Plan, Do, Check, Act framework.
- Contribute as a member of the USCAN Service Leadership Team to support growth.
- Champion LEAN principles as a methodology for continuous improvement.
- Develop talent through coaching and team building.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong operational, commercial, financial, and product leadership skills.
- Experience leading cross functional teams to achieve outcomes.
- Adept at managing both short-term delivery and long-term strategic projects.
- Capable of thriving in dynamic, multi-tasking environments with a customer-first mindset.
- Proven problem-solving skills using LEAN methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Solid project management and strategic planning abilities.
Additional Information
This position is based in the United States and does not offer sponsorship for employment visas. Compensation for U.S. based roles ranges from $164,000 to $246,000 annually and may include performance-based incentives. GE HealthCare offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. Relocation assistance is not provided. The application deadline is February 19, 2026.
