Roles and Responsibilities

• Contributes actively to team activities across various rotational assignments, complemented by formal classroom studies.
• Partners with teams within the business unit to specify needs, communicate project approaches, and present outcomes.
• Applies a basic understanding of key business drivers to successfully accomplish assigned work.
• Understands how their team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.
• Engages in a wide variety of projects and assignments designed to enhance leadership skills, business acumen, and technical proficiency.
• Works effectively within a team setting and/or under the guidance of an Assignment Manager.
• Utilizes good interpersonal skills for communication with direct colleagues and the business regarding design and coordination services.
• For customer-facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and acts as the interface between the customer and GE HealthCare, explaining technical information clearly.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in any of the following technical fields: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Signal and Information Processing, Information Technology, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control, Automation, Nuclear Physics, Mechanical Engineering, User Experience Design, Industrial Design, or related majors.
• Demonstrated academic excellence.
• A passion for engineering, coupled with a strong technical aptitude, an innovation spirit, and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong commitment to a career in technology and product development.
• Self-motivated, self-confident team player with a mature and positive attitude and fast learning ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.
• Candidates must have legal working authorization in China for non-Chinese citizens.

Desired Characteristics

• Prior intern, co-op, or research experiences in related fields such as diagnostic imaging equipment, patient monitoring devices, or life support systems.
• Experience in software or firmware design/applications in clinical areas.
• Research experience in AI/machine learning/data science within healthcare-related projects.
