Job Summary

The Clinical Imaging Specialist at GE HealthCare provides essential technical and clinical support throughout the sales process for medical imaging solutions. This involves delivering pre-sale product demonstrations and clinical trial support, as well as post-sale installation, training, and customer service activities to ensure optimal product utilization and customer satisfaction. The role also includes ongoing on-site clinical in-servicing and go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during the sales process by showcasing the full range of product features, capabilities, and benefits to customers.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive product training to customers on software, application, and equipment use.
  • Monitor customer installations within the assigned territory/region to enhance satisfaction and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and retention through continuous education on equipment utilization optimization.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by conducting product demonstrations, promotions, and customer training.
  • Utilize market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing effective sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.
  • Produce detailed post-training reports and offer regular feedback regarding customer satisfaction and evolving needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this Clinical Imaging Specialist role, candidates should possess:

  • ARRT Certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years clinical/technical experience post-certification, demonstrating proficiency in C-arm procedures across areas like Operating Room, GI Lab, Pain Management, and Interventional/Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Active professional clinical/technical certifications/registries required for imaging live patients in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated current basic clinical scanning proficiencies on modern products/platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within a specified geographic region and to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the local language.
  • Must be willing to submit to a driving record check if operating a company or personal vehicle for business.

Desired Characteristics

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related business or technical/clinical field is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills, including public speaking and lecture experience.
  • Ability to understand and clearly present complex technical material.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with external customers, global counterparts, and internal team members.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution and issue communication with proposed solutions.
  • Proven professional business acumen, with experience in solution-based sales processes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Team-oriented with a strong customer satisfaction mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments.
  • Clinical experience in a large hospital/university setting is preferred.
  • Current GE product experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in other relevant languages within the territory is beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

GE HealthCare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee ambition and well-being. The pay range for this U.S. based position is $92,000.00-$138,000.00 Annually. Compensation is dependent on various factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with contributions, life, disability, accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement. Relocation assistance is provided for this role.
