Overview
The Shipping/Receiving II role at GE Aerospace in Asheville is responsible for handling all aspects of shipping and receiving at the Asheville CMC facility. This includes shipping parts to customers and OSP suppliers, as well as receiving raw material and hardware. The role requires accurate record keeping, performing visual inspections, and following proper procedures to ensure adherence to customer specifications and aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow process operation sheets, quality specifications, and blueprints.
- Use precision instruments for measurements and record accurate data.
- Perform visual inspections for incoming/outgoing hardware and parts.
- Prepare shipping documents and coordinate courier shipments.
- Participate in team meetings, process improvements, and safety protocols.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with shipping/receiving procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shop floor applications.
- Ability to obtain DSQR certification and PIT License.
- Compliance with all safety, EHS, and regulatory policies.
Working Hours
This role operates Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm EST with potential overtime as needed.
Additional Details
The position requires U.S. export-controlled information access, making eligibility an important factor. Employment is conditioned on lawfully working in the United States and successful completion of a drug screen.
