About the role

The Sr. Manager, Business Operations will lead planning, execution, and continuous improvement of critical business operations. The role covers the full operations lifecycle from procurement and vendor management to deployment and long-term optimization in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, finance, compliance, and external vendors. It is based onsite in Mountain View, CA.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end business operations lifecycle, focusing on in-fleet operations.
• Lead cross-functional planning for smooth transitions of vehicles and equipment.
• Optimize resource allocation by analyzing utilization, downtime, and costs.
• Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, ROI modeling, and cost management.
• Negotiate with vendors and establish scalable procurement processes.
• Oversee operational health programs and fleet readiness playbooks.
• Integrate fleet performance insights with product, engineering, and safety teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and operations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, fleet management or program management.
• Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools like SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
