About the role
The Senior Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for both client retention and growth through contract expansion and introduction of new products and services. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartner’s products and services.
What you will do
You will be managing account relationships to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a quota of $800,000+ in contract value
- Executing Gartner’s sales methodology
- Account planning and territory management
- Maintaining forecast accuracy and competitive focus
- Gaining in-depth product and service knowledge
What you will need
Qualifications include 8-15 years of consultative sales experience in high technology and a proven track record at building strong client relationships at the C-level. Required skills include strong intellect, drive, executive presence, computer proficiency, presentation skills, and comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is desired.
