About the Role

The HR Business Partner at Gartner collaborates with both the HR team and business leaders to implement HR initiatives aligned with strategic objectives. This role involves developing strong internal client relationships, coaching, and driving people management initiatives as part of a global, influential HR team.

What You’ll Do

  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary contact for managers and associates, addressing and investigating concerns.
  • Recruitment & Retention: Work with Recruiting to attract and retain talent internally and externally.
  • Workforce Planning & Organizational Development: Craft role profiles, align with budgetary requirements, and guide organizational changes.
  • Succession Planning: Facilitate talent review sessions and recommend retention strategies.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Participate in salary, bonus, and benefits planning to reward top talent.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of progressive HR experience (or equivalent). Proven HR generalist skills across employee relations, employment law, engagement, compensation, performance management, recruitment, and training. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.

Who You Are

A strategic partner capable of advising GVPs and managers, guiding HR planning and operations. You coach managers and associates, utilizing influence and negotiation to support key initiatives, and thrive in a collaborative matrix environment.
