About the Role
The Business Development Executive at Gartner plays a critical role in expanding Gartner’s presence across the global market. You will strategically acquire new clients by cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives, understanding their mission critical priorities, and uncovering opportunities to deliver client-value. You will drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure and ensure a smooth transition to account management.
What You Will Do
- Identify and drive new business opportunities with Large Enterprise organizations.
- Conduct full sales conversations including outreach, negotiation, and closure.
- Build a consistent pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet KPIs.
- Manage complex, high-revenue sales across diverse business settings.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and account planning.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years B2B sales experience in complex sales environments.
- Experience in business development or new-client acquisition roles.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets working with C-level executives.
- Strong skills in managing complex sales processes and forecasting.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
