About the Role
Gartner is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand its global presence by strategically acquiring new clients through trust-based relationships with C-level executives. The role includes driving the full sales cycle from prospect identification to closing and the transition of new accounts to account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek and drive new business opportunities with large enterprise prospects.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing.
- Build a high-quality pipeline of opportunities meeting sales KPIs.
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Negotiate complex, high-revenue sales across matrix business environments.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in complex sales environments.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience engaging with and influencing C-level executives.
- Strong forecasting skills and management of complex sales processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
