About the Role
The Business Development Executive at Gartner plays a critical role in expanding Gartner’s global presence by strategically acquiring new clients and nurturing trust-based relationships with C-level executives. You will drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and ensure a smooth transition of new accounts to the account management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a large enterprise territory.
- Convert prospects into active Gartner clients and manage the entire sales process.
- Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline to meet KPIs.
- Forecast sales, manage complex negotiations and account planning.
- Collaborate with account management to deliver an exceptional client experience.
What You Will Need
Applicants should have 5+ years of B2B sales experience in complex, intangible sales environments, with proven success in new client acquisition, managing full sales cycles, and dealing with C-level executives.
