About the Role

The Account Executive, High-tech is a field-based direct sales role responsible for client retention, contract expansion, and introducing new products and services. In this role, you will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value of Gartner’s products and services.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction and retention
  • Achieve quota with $800,000+ of contract value in a designated territory
  • Execute Gartner’s sales methodology consistently
  • Plan accounts, manage territories, and maintain forecast accuracy
  • Stay informed on competitive trends and in-depth product knowledge

What You’ll Need

  • 5-8 years of successful consultative sales experience in high technology
  • Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven ability to build excellent client relationships at the C-level
  • High computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Understanding of the full sales process lifecycle
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
