About the Role
The Account Executive, High-tech is a field-based direct sales role responsible for client retention, contract expansion, and introducing new products and services. In this role, you will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value of Gartner’s products and services.
What You’ll Do
- Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction and retention
- Achieve quota with $800,000+ of contract value in a designated territory
- Execute Gartner’s sales methodology consistently
- Plan accounts, manage territories, and maintain forecast accuracy
- Stay informed on competitive trends and in-depth product knowledge
What You’ll Need
- 5-8 years of successful consultative sales experience in high technology
- Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven ability to build excellent client relationships at the C-level
- High computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Understanding of the full sales process lifecycle
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
