About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Data Operations Associate to join our Data team. You'll work with QA analysts, product managers, data scientists, and data engineers to ensure that the algorithms fueling Garner's recommendations run on time and produce accurate and reliable data. The Data Operations Associate will also validate data sets, doing independent research to confirm the data sets are reliable inputs. The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented and have some experience with or strong interest in working with data.
Where You Will Work
Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.
What You Will Do
- Curate, validate, clean, and analyze datasets
- Perform research on various healthcare related subjects
- Follow documented procedures to complete recurring tasks like performing quality assurance on data
- Execute monthly operational data pipelines
- Balance several projects at the same time while maintaining a high degree of quality, organization, and communication
- Suggest process improvements as you identify them
- Build and retain detail-oriented working knowledge of Garner processes and data infrastructure
The Ideal Candidate Has
- A bachelor's degree in a major that required critical thinking, attention to detail, and research skills
- Demonstrated work or academic experience in data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis
- Familiarity with data manipulation in Google Sheets or Excel; interest in/familiarity with coding languages like SQL
- A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment; comfortable with some ambiguity
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

Compensation Transparency
The target salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
