Job Description
Head of HR and Talent
Our Client is looking for a Head of HR & Talent. As a Head of HR & Talent, you will be a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for building, scaling, and owning the entire people function. This role plays a critical part in supporting rapid growth across the US, Japan, and South Korea by ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will work closely with founders, leadership, and managers to align people strategy with business goals, build strong and scalable HR processes, and foster a high-performance, people-first culture. This role combines strategic ownership with operational execution and requires deep involvement across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Employee Lifecycle & People Strategy
- Own and continuously improve the full Employee Lifecycle: Attraction → Recruitment → Onboarding → Development → Retention → Exit.
- Design and implement scalable HR processes aligned with company growth and business objectives.
- Act as a trusted partner to leadership on people strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning.
Recruitment & Employer Branding
- Lead and oversee full-cycle hiring across all functions, including senior and executive-level roles.
- Develop and execute effective hiring strategies, sourcing approaches, and interview frameworks.
- Build and strengthen employer brand and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
Performance, Development & Retention
- Design and implement performance management systems, development frameworks, and feedback cycles.
- Empower managers through clear guidelines, tools, and coaching on performance reviews, 1:1s, and people management.
- Launch and own engagement and retention initiatives, including eNPS, regular 1:1s, and retention programs.
Culture & Leadership Partnership
- Shape, maintain, and scale company culture and values across distributed teams.
- Partner closely with leadership on communication, feedback culture, and employee engagement.
- Lead and mentor a small HR and recruitment team, setting clear goals and development plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR and Talent leadership roles, ideally in fast-growing or product-driven companies.
- Strong expertise in recruitment, hiring methodologies, and talent assessment.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
- Solid understanding of performance management, employee development, and retention practices.
- Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, empathy, and integrity.
- Experience working with HR and collaboration tools such as PeopleForce, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- Fluent English (B2–C1 level) required for daily communication with international teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in adtech, tech startups, or international product companies.
- Experience scaling HR processes in distributed or remote-first teams.
