Overview of the Data Science AI Prompt Engineer Role

We are seeking a Data Science AI Prompt Engineer to join our Data Analytics team, helping us make better business decisions based on our data. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of statistics, AI/ML algorithms, mathematics, and data science programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python. Your primary responsibilities will include performing statistical analyses, exploratory data analysis, data research, thorough data study, running custom SQL queries, and identifying patterns and trends to improve our products’ and services’ efficiency and usability. You will work as an individual contributor, providing robust insights, analysis, and analytical reporting to interpret results and inform key business areas on trends and business insights. Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders is crucial. You should be proactive in learning new skills as business requirements evolve and be familiar with extracting, cleansing, and transforming relevant data into insights that drive business value through data analytics, visualization, and modeling techniques.

Additional Position Details

This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are unable to engage 1099 or C2C candidates. This is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S. You must meet our U.S. Eligibility requirements for work authorization.

How You'll Make an Impact & Preferred Skills

• Statistical analysis: Identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets.
• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Techniques: Expert-level knowledge in AI/ML techniques. Implement algorithms and statistical models for automatic learning from data.
• Strong knowledge of Python & R: Experience with MS Azure ML Studio, AWS, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with data science toolkits like R, NumPy, and MatLab.
• Computer science principles: Apply AI, database systems, human/computer interaction, numerical analysis, and software engineering.
• Programming: Write computer programs and analyze large datasets in languages such as Python, Java, R, and SQL to solve complex problems.
• Data storytelling: Communicate actionable insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Analytical and Critical thinking: Find analytical solutions to abstract business issues and apply objective analysis of facts.
• Business intuition & Interpersonal skills: Connect with stakeholders to understand problems and communicate across diverse organizational levels.
• Inquisitiveness: Look beyond the surface to discover patterns and solutions within data.
• Perform data mining, exploration, and analysis.
• Ability to store and process unstructured data with NoSQL databases and machine learning models.
• Design, train, and implement machine learning algorithms.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of output.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel.
• Agile Delivery: Experience in an Agile environment, including user story grooming, sprint planning, development, and user acceptance.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data security protocols, implementing best practices for data handling, storage, and sharing.
• Strong Data Visualization skills, preferably MS PowerBI.
• Keeping up to date with the latest tools and trends.
• Excellent verbal and written Communication skills.
• Leverage predictive models to optimize customer experiences.
• Creating automated anomaly detection.

About You

Work Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong domain knowledge.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.
