Senior Automation Engineer at Galderma
Galderma is the emerging pure-play dermatology category leader with a strong global presence. Based in Uppsala, Sweden, the role focuses on managing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of engineering plans and programs associated with operational automation systems and manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and support existing automation systems to maximize uptime.
- Program, configure, and optimize SCADA systems and PLCs.
- Design and implement automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage automation projects from planning through execution.
- Maintain technical documentation and system reports.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in root cause analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in electrical, control, or electronic engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in automation engineering.
- Experience with GMP, Part 11 compliance and related regulatory industries.
- Expertise in SCADA, PLC programming (Siemens, WinCC, iFix, Wonderware).
- Experience with robotics, motion control, MES systems, and vision systems.
- Professional level English proficiency.
