Role Overview - Quality Control Inspector
The Quality Control Inspector at GA Telesis plays a key role at the Component facility in Miami. The position involves performing incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials and ensuring that production procedures meet quality product expectations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complete vision inspections of incoming parts and materials, including shipments.
- Ensure products meet company standards before dispatch or inventory placement.
- Handle materials with required precaution following safe handling protocols.
- Review material specifications against inventory parts.
- Ensure production and processes comply with legal and company standards.
- Inspect in-process production via visual verification and communicating adjustments.
- Document inspection results through reports and quality assurance logs.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Airframe and Powerplant License is required.
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Quality Control Inspector.
- Familiarity with ATA106, ATA300, ISO9001, AS9120, ASA-100 standards and certification procedures.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office and mathematics.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Quantum Software.
- Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
