This unique contract opportunity allows you to contribute directly to the cutting-edge of AI development in a fully remote environment.

What You'll Do

• Compare and rank multiple code snippets, articulating the strengths and weaknesses of each and identifying the best approach.
• Repair and refactor AI-generated code to ensure correctness, optimize for efficiency, and align with established style guidelines.
• Integrate critical feedback, including ratings, edits, and test results, into the Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) pipeline to ensure its continuous, smooth operation.

The ultimate goal is to enable the model to propose, critique, and improve code with the same discernment and skill as an expert human engineer.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically with strong proficiency in Python.
• Exceptional code-review instincts, allowing you to quickly identify logic errors, potential performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Extreme attention to detail and outstanding written communication skills are paramount, as much of this role involves clearly explaining comparative code quality.
• A genuine enjoyment for delving into documentation and language specifications, coupled with a proven ability to thrive in an asynchronous, low-oversight work environment.

What You Don’t Need

• No prior experience with RLHF or AI training is required; G2i Inc. will provide the necessary training.
• Deep machine learning knowledge is not a prerequisite; if you can critically review and articulate feedback on code, the team will guide you through the rest.

Tech Stack

We are primarily looking for engineers with a strong command of Python.

Logistics

• Location: Fully remote – work from anywhere.
• Compensation: From $30/hr to $70/hr, depending on location and seniority.
• Hours: Minimum 15 hrs/week, with up to 40 hrs/week available.
• Engagement: 1099 contract.
