About Reya
Reya is a high-performance trading platform operating across commodities and cryptocurrencies, with plans to expand into equities. Built by a lean, senior team of ~15, Reya is designed for real-time, high-throughput markets, comparable in complexity to platforms like Nasdaq, Coinbase, or other major exchanges.
The team is scaling rapidly and is hiring engineers who already understand how trading systems work. There is no time for domain training — this role is for engineers who have built and shipped trading or exchange products before.
The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, Trading UI, you will own critical parts of Reya’s real-time trading interface. This includes order entry, live market data visualization, and performance-sensitive UI components used by active traders.
You’ll work closely with backend, trading, and product teams to ensure the frontend reacts instantly to market events without compromising correctness or performance.
This is a direct hire role to support the company’s next phase of growth.
What You’ll Work On
- Real-time trading interfaces powered by WebSockets and event-driven data
- Order books, trade feeds, P&L, margin, and liquidation states
- High-frequency UI updates (prices, depth, charts) with strict performance constraints
- TradingView integrations (candlesticks, indicators, advanced charts)
- Frontend architecture that scales with increasing market activity and users
- Reliability and UX in 24/7 markets
Required Experience
- Senior-level frontend experience building production systems
- Strong expertise in React and modern frontend architecture
- Deep experience with real-time data systems (WebSockets, streaming updates)
- Hands-on experience building trading or exchange UIs (crypto, equities, derivatives, commodities, or traditional markets)
- Solid understanding of:
- Order books
- Candlesticks & charts
- Market vs. limit orders
- P&L calculations
- Margin & liquidations
- Experience managing complex frontend state at scale
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, lean teams with high ownership

Nice to Have
- Experience with high-performance UI optimization
- Familiarity with financial market microstructure
- Previous work at exchanges, brokerages, or trading platforms
Location & Compensation
Location: Remote (Europe time zones strongly preferred)
