Position Overview
As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at PharmaForce, you will join a small, fast-moving team responsible for designing, building, deploying, and iterating on agentic systems that power both user-facing chat experiences and background automation.
The Work
- Design and build agentic workflows for chat and asynchronous background processes.
- Choose and apply techniques for prompting, tool use, orchestration, memory, and evaluation.
- Write high-quality, production-grade Python code.
- Iteratively build, test, deploy, and operate services on Azure.
- Collaborate with a small, fully remote team.
The Bar
- Strong Python fundamentals with computer science foundations.
- Experience building core components of agentic systems including tools, RAG, API integrations, sub-agents, and orchestration techniques.
- Understanding of context engineering and industry developments.
- Working knowledge of FastAPI, Pydantic-AI, Pydantic, Pandas, and Redis or similar libraries.
- Experience using AI-augmented coding tools and observability tools.
- Ability to clearly explain design decisions from personal or commercial projects.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity without heavy process or rigid specs.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to non-LLM machine learning such as regression, classification, or time series.
How We Work
The team works fully remote, guided by Agile Manifesto principles with a focus on fast feedback, continuous improvement, and minimal meetings.
Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) is required.
