About the Role: Account Manager, Mid-market
As an Account Manager, Mid-market at G2, you will drive revenue through consultative relationships with your assigned clients. You will educate and support clients on how G2's solutions assist marketing and sales teams in building their brand and generating demand in the software industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the renewal process including upsell and cross-selling opportunities.
- Drive revenue by aligning G2 solutions with client objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Create sales plans and prospect new expansion opportunities.
- Maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and regular check-ins.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Success, Solutions Consultants, and Research to deliver a world-class experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of quota carrying sales or account management experience.
- Experience with mid-market sized companies and B2B sales.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the software, technology, or digital marketing industry.
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Location Preferences
While G2 supports remote talent across the US, there is a preference for candidates based in Chicago due to the strong local presence of our revenue leadership team and HQ location.
