Job Scope Summary

The Counter Sales Service Associate will have deep knowledge of both new and existing products and inventory, handle counter sales, assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of all transactions.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week between 8am – 5pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Answer phone calls, greet customers, assist with product selections, troubleshoot system issues, research and source products, enter sales orders, process returns, follow up on customer requests, maintain the showroom and resolve complaints.
  • Sales: Prepare and issue sales quotes, educate customers on product benefits, recommend additional items, and promote surplus or discounted inventory.
  • General Responsibilities: Maintain product knowledge through training and catalog study, assist in warehouse duties, organize records, and complete paperwork accurately and promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum high school diploma or GED required with at least two years of related experience in the HVAC/R industry. Must have 1-3 years as a sales and service associate, effective verbal and written communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and forklift experience.
