What You’ll Do

  • Lead copy and content development, with a primary focus on Human Health diagnostics, contributing to other workstreams as needed.
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific information into compelling, consumer-friendly copy for paid social, IVA scripts, websites, and sales materials.
  • Manage all stages of copy development, from initial concept to final delivery, including meticulous proofreading and revisions.
  • Contribute actively to messaging strategy sessions with clients and internal teams, integrating feedback to refine content effectively.
  • Develop deep fluency in client industries, including therapeutics and diagnostic tools, to precisely tailor messaging for specific audiences.
  • Ensure brand consistency and clarity across all channels and formats, including print, digital, social, web, and technical documentation, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with FWD People team members and clients to deliver strategic, on-brand content and copy solutions.
  • Maintain rigorous version control and manage assets throughout the project lifecycle to guarantee quality, organization, and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • Over 7 years of experience in writing and editing high-science, data-heavy healthcare content, with a strong emphasis on technical precision and accuracy in oncology or diagnostic environments.
  • Confidence in client-facing interactions, comfortable leading conversations and fielding questions.
  • Proven ability to dissect and interpret complex scientific data, identifying key points for both technical and regulatory audiences.
  • High standards for the creative process and output, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and precision in all deliverables.
  • Proficiency in AMA and AP style, coupled with a strong understanding of pharma and healthcare industry best practices, including applying references and validating content for regulatory submissions.
  • The capacity to critically evaluate and summarize scientific data and clinical results effectively.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, expertly self-managing expectations and consistently delivering on-brief, strategic, and high-quality copy.
  • A critical thinker and natural storyteller, adept at communicating ideas through slides and Google Workspace, and presenting to clients and internal teams.
  • A self-motivated, positive attitude and collaborative nature, with the ability to adapt to new situations, think quickly, and communicate openly and proactively.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Creative Challenge: Engage in innovative projects within the Biotech and Animal Health sectors, and contribute to non-profit initiatives, expanding your creative and technical skills for diverse audiences.
  • A Culture of Growth: Join a team that prioritizes growth, offering continuous learning, collaboration, and leadership opportunities in a supportive environment.
