About the Role
Future Processing is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in commercial ML projects. This role involves active participation in the entire lifecycle of AI solutions, from analytical and advisory processes to implementation and post-sales support. You will be instrumental in upholding best practices in software development and evolving the company's ML standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to and maintain good software development practices in collaboration with the senior machine learning team.
- Support project leaders and supervisors in Machine Learning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and development directions in the ML domain.
- Engage in analytical and advisory processes for implementing AI-based solutions.
- Actively participate in the pre-sales process.
- Monitor market trends and align solutions with business requirements.
- Provide expert support for strategic internal company activities.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 3.5 years in commercial Machine Learning projects.
- Proficiency in Python for Data Science and ML projects.
- Extensive experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including Large Language Models (LLM) – covering API usage, fine-tuning, pruning, quantization, and knowledge distillation.
- Demonstrated experience with AI services from major cloud providers.
- Strong understanding and hands-on expertise with machine learning methods and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, Keras, and statsmodels.
- Skills in data exploration, data visualization, and data cleansing.
- Proven ability to work with clients, focusing on understanding and fulfilling their business needs.
- Proactive mindset, eager to initiate actions and explore innovative solutions independently.
- Participation in pre-sales activities.
- English language proficiency at an intermediate level (minimum B2+).

- Experience in Computer Vision.
- Experience with ML optimizations (e.g., predictive maintenance, recommendation systems).
- Experience in knowledge management (e.g., RAG, LangChain, vector databases).
