Role Description
This is a part-time remote position for a Robotics Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement robotic solutions to enhance pet care and interaction. Daily responsibilities include building and testing robotic systems, troubleshooting challenges, optimizing automated processes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The engineer will also document progress, refine designs based on feedback, and ensure all solutions meet quality and functionality standards.
Qualifications
Technical Qualifications
- Education: B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Core Languages: Mastery of C++ (for performance-critical modules) and Python (for AI and rapid prototyping).
- Middleware: Deep experience with ROS/ROS2 and Gazebo for simulation.
- AI/CV: Proven experience with OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and deploying models on embedded systems.
