Role Overview

Your role as a 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineer at Fujitsu involves working within a small, dynamic team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers. You will perform planned activities through a Change Management Process, monitor systems using Event Management tooling, and respond to incidents via the Incident Process including triaging and escalation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to escalations from 2nd Line using ITSM tooling.
  • Manage PKI certificates for both physical and virtual networking devices.
  • Distribute software, firmware, and security updates for network devices.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams.
  • Maintain and support the virtual and physical network solution, updating the Operations Lead.
  • Perform readiness assessments for new releases from the Engineering Team.
  • Produce and maintain documentation including Work Instructions and Patching Schedules.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Cloud Administration (e.g., Broadcom NSX-T)
  • Firewall Management (e.g., Cisco Firepower Management Centre)
  • Experience with Network Devices (e.g., Cisco IOS, NXOS & FXOS; Juniper Devices & JUNOS)
  • Network Authentication (e.g., Cisco ISE)
  • Experience with Event Management Tooling (e.g., SolarWinds)
  • Familiarity with ITSM Tooling & Processes
  • Knowledge of vCenter use in Cloud Administration

Work Expectations & Benefits

The role is structured with a support schedule from Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 19:00 covering 37 hours which may include early or late rotations as directed.
