Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager - North America at Freshworks, you will generate qualified opportunities through rigorous prospecting and research in your target market. You will engage high-profile prospects, build an effective sales pipeline, and serve as the face of Freshworks.

  • Perform extensive research on assigned accounts and build a pipeline.
  • Conduct creative outreach through emails and campaigns.
  • Deliver compelling pitches to high-profile company personas.
  • Present product capabilities using PowerPoint presentations.
  • Maintain a meticulous record in CRM and update meeting minutes.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 7 years in a customer-facing sales/BD role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy for customer needs and effective collaboration skills.
  • Experience in cold calling and understanding sales metrics.
  • Ability to multi-task, research, and conduct effective presentations.

Good to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS companies.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo.
  • Track record of consistently overachieving targets.
