Role Overview: Lead - Data Platform Engineering

As a member of the Data Platform team at Freshworks, you will be at the forefront of harnessing data-driven decision making. Your role involves building robust data pipelines and ensuring the integrity and quality of massive datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the backbone of our data platform by building robust pipelines using AWS and the Databricks platform.
• Transform complex data into actionable insights while ensuring data cleanliness and accuracy.
• Write clean, efficient code in Scala and Kafka to handle structured and unstructured data.
• Work with distributed systems and processing frameworks such as Spark for batch and near real-time data.
• Develop end-to-end data solutions integrating multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 4.5–11 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Scala, Kafka, and distributed system frameworks.
• Experience with AWS services and Databricks.
• Ability to write elegant and maintainable code.
• Adaptable to picking up new technologies quickly.
