The Role of a Golang Engineer
This Golang Engineer role focuses on building and scaling a real-time streaming platform designed to convert audio, text, and video inputs into AI-generated sign language output. These outputs are delivered via MP4, HLS streams, and other modern formats. The successful candidate will be instrumental in reducing latency, implementing new streaming protocols, and laying the foundational infrastructure for real-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services for live and near–real-time video streaming
- Reduce end-to-end latency across streaming and delivery pipelines
- Work on video processing and media delivery pipelines
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
- Solid understanding of low-latency systems and performance optimisation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
- Comfortable working in an early-stage or scale-up environment
