  • Document Preparation and Maintenance: Draft and maintain project documentation, including program reports, design narratives, and project specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout all design phases.
  • Infrastructure Coordination: Assist with coordination of AV and communications infrastructure requirements with related low-voltage systems by incorporating defined requirements and markups into assigned deliverables.
  • Design Review Participation: Participate in internal and cross-discipline design reviews by preparing materials, documenting feedback, and updating assigned work products under the direction of senior team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in QA reviews of design deliverables and support construction coordination activities by verifying documentation accuracy and incorporating review comments.
  • Site Observation and Verification: Support site observations and verifications by documenting conditions, capturing findings, and assisting senior team members with follow‑up documentation as needed.
Internal Responsibilities
  • Team contribution: Contribute to Waveguide’s internal knowledge base and consulting community by accurately documenting lessons learned, following established best practices, and sharing relevant technical observations from assigned design‑phase work as directed by senior team members.
  • Process awareness and improvement: Support established design‑phase consulting workflows by executing assigned tasks consistently and in accordance with defined processes. Identify and communicate basic inefficiencies, documentation gaps, or recurring issues observed during assigned work to senior team members for awareness and potential improvement.
  • Professional Growth: Develop foundational knowledge in AV, Telecom and Acoustics. Achieve AVIXA CTS certification within the first year of employment.
  • Travel: This position requires up to 25% local and domestic and occasionally international travel to attend design coordination meetings, and support project delivery.
