Business Analyst
The Business Analyst supports business operations by analyzing requirements, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions for Freedom Mortgage.
Essential Job Functions
This role involves assessing current practices, gathering and analyzing information, and recommending improvements to business processes. Key tasks include:
- Assessing current practices and functions to determine objectives.
- Evaluating business structures and recommending new projects.
- Collecting critical information from stakeholder meetings and summarizing trends.
- Communicating insights and plans with cross-functional teams and management.
- Providing guidance to junior staff and handling moderately complex issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and 2-4 years of experience with knowledge in business structures. Mortgage knowledge is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook is required, with advanced expertise in Excel. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Other Duties & Work Environment
Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The role is performed in a typical interior office with moderate noise levels. Regular attendance is essential.
