Product Owner - Crypto Back-Office Titles at Free-Work
Our client, through Free-Work, is searching for a Product Owner - Crypto Back-Office Titles for a long-term mission.
As part of a strategic project focused on digital assets and cryptocurrencies, a major financial institution is expanding its IT/Product teams within its Securities (Titres) back-office.
The objective: to design and manage digital products with high functional complexity, at the interface between:
- Securities / post-market operations teams,
- IT teams, and
- New usages related to digital assets (crypto, tokenization, custody, traceability, etc.).
As an experienced Product Owner, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle:
- Functional scoping and gathering business needs (MOA / back-office users)
- Building and prioritizing the product backlog
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Facilitating agile rituals (refinement, sprint planning, reviews)
- Coordinating with IT teams (developers, architects, QA)
- Contributing to discussions related to new crypto usages within a regulated banking framework
Environment & Methodology
- Agile methods (Scrum / Kanban)
- Tools such as Jira, Confluence
- Demanding banking ecosystem (security, compliance, traceability)
Candidate Profile
You should have 4 to 5 years of minimum experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst / MOA.
Strong knowledge of "Securities / Banking Back-Office" is essential, including:
- Settlement-delivery
- Securities repositories
- Post-market operations, custody, corporate actions, etc.
A strong interest in cryptocurrency / digital assets topics is required. Expertise in crypto is not mandatory, but the ability to quickly develop expertise is indispensable.
You should be comfortable in complex and regulated environments, possess strong analytical skills, a structured and curious mind, excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude, and a strong sense of business/IT dialogue.
