IT Business Analyst - Pricing

Our client, an Investment Banking Group, is looking for an IT Business Analyst focused on Pricing Dealing Swaps (M/F) for a long-term contract.

Mission

This role is within the Pricing/Trading department, specifically on the Web Applications team. The Web Applications offering (eSmart portal) provides clients and sales teams with tools for pricing and trading interest rate and foreign exchange hedging products.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering user requirements (sales/structuring/trading).
• Writing functional specifications (product creation, screen mockups, etc.).
• Monitoring development progress.
• User acceptance testing (UAT) and non-regression testing.
• Overseeing production deployments, user training, and support.
• Analyzing existing systems, handling evolutionary and corrective maintenance.
• Acting as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and developers.

Deliverables:

• General functional specifications.
• Test cases and reports.
• User procedures and guides.
• Technical and functional documentation.

Candidate Profile:

• Business Analyst with 6 to 9 years of experience in Capital Markets Finance.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pricing for Interest Rate and FX products (swaps, caps, etc.).
• Good understanding of products, electronic trading, and capital markets.
• Organized, rigorous, and excellent communication skills.
• Technical aptitude: ability to investigate technical issues with developers, SQL querying.
• Fluent English.
• Dynamic, autonomous, and proactive.

Ideally:

• Experience with pricing and dealing applications.
• Familiarity with Web Applications for pricing.
