DevOps Engineer Cloud and Automation
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Cloud and Automation for a freelance position at Free-Work. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in OPS/DevOps engineering within critical production environments.
Profile Sought
- Solid experience in OPS/DevOps engineering in critical production environments.
- Mastery of "as code" automation practices and a confirmed DevOps/Agile culture.
- Expertise in Kubernetes/Docker: pods, deployments, network policies, persistent volumes, configmaps, secrets.
- Knowledge of Cloud architectures (micro-services, virtualization, Infrastructure as Code - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Understanding of private, public, and hybrid Cloud service models.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Proficiency in version control tools and binary repositories (GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus).
- Ability to work outside of business hours (HNO) and be on call.

Mission Context
As part of an OPS Engineering service, you will join a Cloud product squad in a team-based setup. Your role is central: to ensure the operability, reliability, and security of products put into production, while driving an End-to-End automation and supervision approach using Dynatrace, XL Release, and the CI/CD toolchain.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of production releases (MEP, CAB) and facilitation of solution deployment.
- Production Representative within the squad - Toolchain, Ansible A/R.
- Definition, piloting, and guarantee of SLOs - management of recurring incidents (recurrence, Time2fix).
- Implementation and evolution of End-to-End monitoring (Dynatrace) - production and non-production supervision.
- Technical architecture design (SATS/CASA) and participation in architecture reviews.
- Automation of deployments and implementation of technical user stories.
- Monitoring of Delivery operability (PACT, PCR, production standards).
- Ensuring application continuity: ICP, Backup/Restore, Disaster Recovery.
- Feeding the Production backlog: CI/CD, Continuous Operation, Time2repair.
- Conducting security reviews and access controls (OS, storage, network, routers).
- Contribution to the definition of service levels and production indicators.
- Support for development teams to secure and accelerate deliveries.
- Identification of operational bottlenecks (flows, security, network) and action plans.
- Capacity planning and infrastructure upgrade piloting.
- Implementation of application piloting guidelines (AEL) and maintenance of documentation.
