Data Business Analyst (H/F) - Freelance

Insitoo Freelances, a company of the Insitoo group, specializes in IT and Business Freelance placement and sourcing. Since 2007, Insitoo Freelances has been a reference in freelancing, known for its IT expertise and values of transparency and proximity. Currently, to meet our clients' needs, we are looking for a Data Business Analyst (H/F) in Lyon, France.

Context

The entity is responsible for Incident Supervision and Management to ensure production performance. The candidate will join the team responsible for monitoring production performance, software distribution across the park, and dashboard creation.

Desired Start Date: 04/05/2026

This is expected to be a long-term engagement due to the required skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Activities:

• Monitor and analyze national and regional performance indicators, explain their variations, and implement associated improvement actions.
• Create operational or steering dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Consolidate data and report analyses related to performance variations.
• Understand the operational functioning and monitor all production events.
• Prepare, lead, and/or represent production in various committees.
• Understand, analyze, prepare, construct, and lead discussions around performance indicators with stakeholders.
• Independently investigate anomalies or weak signals in data, identifying initially unplanned analysis avenues.
• Challenge existing processes and propose optimization axes based on analyses.
• Identify and activate improvement levers in coordination with contributing teams (business/technical).
• Act as a reference for indicators, proposing improvements to their calculation methods, scope, and relevance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance analysis and steering practices within the team.

Secondary Activities:

• Performance monitoring for pilots and experiments.
• Performance monitoring for dedicated areas based on production news.
• Knowledge capitalization and sharing (documentation).
• Write and distribute daily cross-chain reporting.

Technical Stack:

Tableau Desktop, JIRA / Confluence, Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), SQL, and Python.

Profile Description:

The ideal candidate is a data analyst with a strong passion for data, business acumen, good interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation and facilitation abilities. Experience in data processing and analysis is required. The project expects candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience.
