About the Role
As an Architecte Data GCP at Free-Work, you will define and pilot the evolution of our cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud, as part of a significant data transformation program. This role involves deep analysis of existing architectures to identify technical limitations and propose strategic target trajectories that align with business, technical, and operational imperatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the design of innovative architectures, integrating core GCP services and technologies such such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Dataproc, while also exploring lakehouse approaches where beneficial.
- Oversee critical architectural decisions related to data storage, processing, governance, security, and quality, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and resilience across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Cloud, and DevOps teams to guarantee an industrialized implementation that adheres to enterprise standards and operational constraints.
- Lead technical workshops, formalize architectural patterns, and mentor teams in adopting best practices for data management on GCP.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with a profound mastery of GCP and its data services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Dataproc. You should possess a strong understanding of modern data platform architectures and thrive in technical transformation environments, capable of dissecting complex systems and delivering robust, sustainable solutions. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a passion for knowledge sharing and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience with large accounts or high-volume data environments is a distinct advantage.
