Job Description
The Flow Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Flow Room function at Frasers Group. This role ensures smooth, efficient, and accurate order flow across the warehouse by managing order release, site occupancy, loading bay flow, and incident handling. Working closely with Shift Managers, operations, automation, planning, and Transport, you will deliver operational targets and maintain consistent, objective reporting to support decision making.
Key Focus Areas
- Achieve OTIF and delivery targets
- Reduce aged and split orders
- Improve site occupancy management
- Deliver accurate, standardised reporting
- Equip Flow Room staff with necessary tools and training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Shift Managers, Planning, IT, Automation, and Transport
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Flow Room team; manage the order release strategy and monitor OTIF performance; ensure effective site occupancy management and proactive incident escalations; drive continuous improvement and standardisation in reporting; secure necessary tools and systems; and function as a change leader as operational standards evolve.
Qualifications
- Strong background in warehouse or logistics operations
- Proven team leadership and development skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in WMS, Power BI, SQL or equivalent
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in incident management and cross-functional collaboration
