Overview

As a Production Supervisor, Food and Beverage Processing at Fraser Valley Packers Inc., you will be a pivotal leader in our fast-paced food and beverage processing environment. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for the Production Supervisor include:

  • Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a highly skilled and compliant workforce.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions, contributing to team development and growth.
  • Prepare comprehensive production and other reports to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
  • Recommend measures to continuously improve productivity and product quality, driving operational excellence.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of 16-20 workers, including process control and machine operators, and testers and graders in food and beverage processing.
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities seamlessly with other work units.
  • Requisition or order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain continuous production.

Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising 16-20 people, specifically:

  • Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing
  • Testers and graders, food and beverage processing

Experience and specialization

Candidates should possess specific knowledge and experience, particularly in:

  • Regulations knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
