Overview

At Franklin Templeton, we advance the industry by developing innovative ways to help clients achieve their investment goals. As a Product Management Associate, you will work across asset management, wealth management, and fintech, contributing to the growth of the US product lineup.

Primary Responsibilities

This role partners with US Distribution, investment managers, legal, marketing, compliance, operations, and other support functions to:

  • Assess product and capability gaps
  • Conduct industry and competitor research
  • Support product positioning, research and competitive trends
  • Assist with product management initiatives and growth

Ongoing Responsibilities

Product Range Management
  • Support new portfolio launches and changes
  • Oversee product implementation workflow and execution
  • Coordinate with transfer agents and recordkeepers
Product Structuring & Pricing
  • Document investment strategy and risk profile
  • Assist with investment committee proposals
  • Research marketplace and competitor trends
Product Positioning & Sales Support
  • Contribute to sales strategy and go-to-market planning
  • Partner with marketing and training teams
  • Support drafting presentations and training materials

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; process towards CFA or CAIA preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in asset management
  • Strong analytical skills and data manipulation using Excel
  • Experienced with Morningstar Direct, SimFund, Lipper, and similar tools
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and organizational skills
